It does not make sense to save the old times of the serially retested slowest connections since that data is already present in the timing data
Currently we save a lot of redundant information for the serially retested slowest connections. The redundant arrays that are saved are:
sfrom
sto
stimings_old
These could be determined from the timings
array.
I would suggest to remove stimings_old
from the SION files as with sfrom
and sto
this can easily be reconstructed. Additionally removing sfrom
and sto
from the SION file would mean that timings
would have to be sorted, which is not worth the computational effort for the space savings in my opinion. This should speed-up output and should not hamper loading too much.
