Occasional 'Partial read on file for GFS transport (errno: 11 -- Resource temporarily unavailable)'

I got this on Sage, node client-26, user lompar1 using maestro-core develop branch and maestro-bundle development branch. We often get #29 (closed) in the consumer app, but sometimes instead of mamba memory allocation error we get this partial read error with the same workflow. I had this error on miniHPC in ECMWF too.
