Sending various message contents
Currently, linktest sends a stream of ones in every kernel. This is of course a contrast to real messages that contain information. The question is, does it matter? Would a different message result in different bandwidth? At first, you might think it does not, but lower-level protocols like ecc might profit from a simple stream of ones. And hopefully, no transport layer does some sort of compression.
