  • RSE Monitor

This Repo shall contain code to query the JuSER database for publications matching a given set of keywords and institutes.

The results may give insight on development of software usage and reference in publications from institutes over time.

A first idea on how to structure the databases holding the information on publications, see Database-structure.md in this repository.

The RSE-Monitor itself can be found on this website.

If you want to conduct own analyses, you can use the Jupyter-Notebook own_analysis.ipynb as a starting point. It includes the import statements, downloads the database and runs some exemplary analysis, that you can adapt as wanted. First, please install the needed requirements using conda/mamba and the environment.yml file.

    Location

This project is located at <gitlab.jsc.fz-juelich.de>. There, the code as well as the website can be found.
